Jordy DaCosta

Owner

Originally from Terrace BC, Jordy graduated from Caledonia high school and started to pursue his career in the trades working on jobsites and getting his hours for Carpentry. Getting his work ethic from his parents he worked hard and after a couple years of apprenticing Jordy wanted to get out of his small hometown and make a move to a larger city with opportunity.

Jordy moved to Chilliwack in 2013 with the hopes of furthering his construction career and knowledge attending UBC Sauder school of business & BCIT. Successfully completing his Real Estate Trading Services Certificate in 2014, Real Estate Property Management in 2018, obtaining his Builders license in 2023 along with his Home Warranty, and continually taking building courses through BCIT, Jordy has been honing his skills on anything to do with construction and real estate.

DaCosta Construction Ltd started in 2015 with small renovations and handyman work. It has grown into full scale home renovations, commercial building’s, and building carriage homes. Jordy started seeing the housing issues first hand, having his finger on the pulse through the real estate and construction industry. Rising house prices, lack of supply, and the cost of living being sky high, DaCosta Construction see’s a huge need for carriage homes & garden suites in the Chilliwack area and wants to be a part of solving the housing issues.

Jordy lives and works in Chilliwack and is a part of local rec teams, helping seniors through volunteering for Chilliwack Community Services, and donating man hours for community work.
